Job Description
My
client is a leading international EPC with offices across the globe.
Their office in Jakarta, Indonesia, has tasked Progressive with the
search for a new HOD to oversee their offshore pipeline engineering
department due to internal movement. A primary focus of this HOD would
be to execute high-quality engineering from conceptual through to detail
design on major oil and gas projects. This will tie in with his/her
ability to provide technical direction over project design teams whilst
ensuring technical accuracy within commercial and time constraints.
Other requirements of the job include:-Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Hons)
in related engineering field-Preferably a minimum of 15 years experience
in pipeline engineering for oil and gas projects-Familiarity with FE
programs such as ANSYS, ABAQUS-Familiarity with performing engineering
on pipelines according to national and international standards,
including use of Excel and Mathcad programs-Ability to liaise with
clients regarding the technical aspects of a particular project -Prior
experience on deepwater projects-Capacity to provide bid and tender
support by assisting in the preparation of proposals-Proven track record
of delivering projects while working with other technical disciplines
and under demanding work conditions*All candidates are encouraged to
