Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist

Placement : Indonesia and SEA
Responsible to : Project Manager/Team Leader
Requirements : Master Degree / Bachelor degree in Civil/ Environmental Engineering with experiences more than 15 years in water supply and sanitation, water and wastewater treatment plant, hydraulics or a verified equivalent.
Language : Fluency in speaking and writing in English.

A Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist can expect to undertake a range of activities, including both technical and non-technical tasks and experiences as follow:

* Managing teams on large scale feasibility, design and implementation projects to international standards
* Liaising with various parties in projects, including local authorities, government agencies, clients, contractors, residents, suppliers, technical experts and other consultants
* Water treatment plant design and wastewater treatment plant design
* Pipe network design, designing overall schemes and the range is from an initial outline to a full detailed design.
* Preparing tender documents as a basis for construction (FIDIC Contracts) in English to international standards
* Presenting technical data or project results to both technical and non-technical clients and colleagues
* Monitoring the progress of projects from beginning to end - from the feasibility stage, to design through to construction and handover - or supervising one section of a large
* project
* Controlling budgets at project level
* Administering contracts and ensuring that work is completed to the schedule
* Familiar in development of PPP projects from preparation to transaction stage as advantage

The candidate should be a strong technical, proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios, proven client liaison and communication skills.
