Description
BASIC FUNCTION:

The Junior Engineer/Technologist is responsible for assisting in providing technical support to all
activities related to CPD&T. All duties will be closely monitored by a senior member of the
Engineering group.


Responsibilities Include, but are Not Limited to the Following:

Assist in providing wellsite engineering support for simple application of CPD application within the region. Common activities include; rigging-in, daily reporting, flow modeling,coordinate procedures, safety meetings, specialty calculations, fluid checks, corrosion monitoring, data interpretation, …

Participate in hands-on training related to equipment operation and maintenance.
Assist in providing engineering office support for application of CPD within the region.
Common activities include; CPD proposals, data entry, flow modeling, procedure preparation, specialty calculations, report writing, …

Participate in training, competency and specialty courses as directed by your supervisor. This includes achieving self directed training in a reasonable amount of time.

Ensure CPD activities are being conducted in a manner that meets all corporate and
regulatory HSSE standards.

As directed by the Regional Engineering Manager, assist sales and business development personnel as required.

Assist Regional Engineering Manager, Engineering Coordinator, and Engineering Team as required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Job Requires an accredited Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum) or a
certificate in Petroleum Engineering Technology. Experience some aspect of CPD is an asset for this position.

Minimum of 6 mths experience related to oilfield drilling rigs.
Good English communication skills (both oral and written).
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Professional Manner with Positive Customer Service Attitude.
Excellent Problem Solving Skills.
Mobile and will to work irregular hours in a field environment.
Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to Manage Multiple Projects with a Positive Attitude
Work history that demonstrates the ability to work effectively in both field and office
environments.
