With continued growth we are seeking additional experience resource that will be located in Balikpapan Support Office, East Kalimantan as a Training Officer – Health Safety & Environment.

:: Training Officer – Health Safety & Environment
Reporting to Supervisor HSE Training, you will assist the Superior to train & assess TCI employees within mining and construction projects in all aspects of occupational health safety and environmental; assist in the provision of Workplace training to TCI Operational personnel; develop skills proficiency of workplace trainers and assessors; provide report and feedback of training activities to site supervision; provide report based on training report participants to T&D admin training; provide results of HSE training to site management and T&D Supervisors or Managers; plan mining ops training activities; conduct HSE assessment activities in accordance with TMS & Australian competency standards; assist in the design of HSE material; conduct tests and examinations for HSE personnel; develop personal teaching skills and HSE competence; develop personal competence in relation with HSE government certification & other regulation.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum degree in diploma or relevant education background in K3 / OHSE; having certificate IV in Workplace Training; POP (Pratama) certificate; 3 - 4 years experiences in mining and / or construction industry as HSE trainer / safety officer / member rescue team; self confident; good communication skills (English & Bahasa); able to prepare for extensive travels; facilitation skills; competency based training system principles and concepts; broad based knowledge of HSE training in mining and construction industries.
